We have our freedom of speech in our country...or what's left of it since it's clearly not democratic anymore...The Sunday's Hindraf rally has clearly shown that our people is not happy with the government. But why must the government block the Hindraf rally from submitting the memorandum to the British High Commision? If you people up there have nothing to hide, so what's there to fear about of a memorandum???
So illegal would be the reason??? cause it's a illegal gathering?....of course that had to adapt to this approach because they know that the government will block them off like how it happened.
Some people said that this activity would disturb the tourism industry here...I say its pure Rubbish....look at France, Myanmar, Argentina, America...there all have rally and protest every once a while, but that doesn't stop people from going there and have a great holiday...This statement is a complete rigid bullcrap from a naive person.
Malaysian always have something to say about Bush's plan or his leadership towards the world....but heck...look at ourselves....we aren't much different from him right? it's like a pot calling a kettle black.
Samy Vellu's statement on saying that the people should go to the "right" channel is just to make himself sound good in front of his fellow party leaders....He's actually boot licking the part rather than taking care of his own people.
